Parfums Vintage was founded in 2016 with a restorative mission: to compete directly with Creed Aventus on ingredient quality, backed by a core pledge from our founder and perfumer to never reformulate.
Locating outside the EU was one of many measures taken to robustly maintain the integrity of our formulations, with the added pledge that no shareholders would be entertained and no accountants would ever interfere with procurement. This ensures the absolute success of the founder's unwavering mission.
The 2017 release of Pineapple Vintage Intense ultimately surpassed the original by generously dosing the more desirable pineapple accords far beyond what that composition ever contained. The only way to achieve these ethereal pineapple accords is to utilize the finest grade of Bergamot Reggio, selected specifically to contain minimal crude Aldehydes found to proliferate in inferior grades. This painstaking sourcing and evaluation of tier one ingredients is the foundation for the juicy, ethereal pineapple notes that our customers have come to prefer over the original, ensuring a level of abundance that remains unmatched.
Intense X is a superior formulation featuring captive molecules which we did not have access to in our formative years, along with a slightly higher concentration of Parfum, though such a boost was hardly a requirement for a profile already known for its strength.
Ensure that you do not miss out as this is a Limited Edition Tenth Anniversary homage, available in a selection of handcrafted bottles. The presentation of this anniversary edition is an art piece in itself. A select number of revolving display vaults house the handcrafted ornament quality bottle which rotates entirely within its own footprint so that the vault and bottle are unified as one. The presentation has been over two years in the design and making. A piece of this caliber is never "off the shelf" and was custom engineered to meet our exacting requirements for design and quality.
To be candid, such a resource intensive endeavor does not result in significant monetary profit. Rather, it merely serves as an indication of the heights reachable when a fragrance house is driven solely by the desire to not settle for the ordinary when frankly, excellence is achievable.

In 2021, we expanded our olfactory edge by securing exclusive captive molecules. Unlike competitors limited to standard racemic versions, we utilize superior Dextro and Laevo captives. Despite staggering costs and rigorous procurement hurdles, these materials allow us to meticulously balance over 40 components in a single formula. The result is that our EDP compositions consistently outperform the Extraits of other brands.
We continue to maintain benchmark quality at a time when Creed enthusiasts have been forced to petition for the restoration of former standards. While legacy houses have been passed between conglomerates, Creed’s holding company, Kering, appeared preoccupied with the logistics of offloading the brand to L'Oreal to address the concerns of their concerned customers.
In contrast, we have remained steadfast and independent, aligned with our mission.
Our founder and perfumer was never interested in competing with the clone houses of the day that prioritized cheap prices and premade oils comprised of inferior ingredients. He considered the practice of overdosing low quality components to Extrait concentrations a race to the bottom, choosing instead to operate on an entirely different plane.

Artisanal Labor: Each flacon takes five days to produce, with up to six hours of hand application.
